Digital Artist Creates NFT Art Commemorating Dogecoin Futures Setting Record After Elon Musk and Twitter Adopts Doge Token’s Dog Logo
April 5th was an Ultra Sweet day for Crypto DogeCoin Fans. Elon Musk instructed Twitter to use the Shiba Inu DOGE logo as their own. This move further amplified the velocity of demand for Dogecoin futures, leading to a record breaking day. Dogecoin’s price spiked nearly 30% after Twitter CEO Elon Musk switched the app’s logo from the blue bird to the beloved Shiba Inu dog, a symbol often associated with the crypto currency coin.
Dogecoin, founded in 2013, has grown in popularity over the last two years. The logo change could be a callback to when a Twitter user commented that Elon Musk should purchase the company and change the logo.
“Is a new platform needed?” Elon tweeted.
“Just buy Twitter,” one user said. “And change the bird logo to a doge.”
“Haha that would [be] sickkk,” Musk said.
On Monday, Musk posted a screenshot of the interaction and said, “As promised.”
Could this be Elon Musk’s grand move to redeem himself from the damage done to Dogecoin and the DOGE community during his Saturday Night Live — SNL Appearance? I have a feeling that Elon has HUGE plans to level up crypto — especially Dogecoin.
